MELANIE DANDENEAU Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa in 2003. She has been working in the fitness field ever since having focused her career in Personal Training. She joined the Elite Team of Professionals in 2007 as a trainer to all levels of athletes and has since made her way to General Manager of Elite's Performance Division. Her combined love for hard work and training have lead her to compete in natural physique competitions where she has won the title of Provincial Overall Figure Champion and is now a seasoned Competitor at the National ranks. |

LEIGH MOLLISON Leigh has been with the Elite family since 2004. She is the resident Athletic Therapist and leads the Athena Project at our Performance Division location. Leigh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba, is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Leigh's dual role as trainer and rehabilitation specialist allows her to use her knowledge of exercise to help athletes recover from injury and return in top form. A national level Bodybuilder, Leigh understands commitment to sport, hard work and perseverance! |

MORGAN COULTHARD Morgan has been working for Elite Performance Centers since 2002. Like all employees of Elite's Performance Division, he started as a client, working his way up to seasoned trainer and now leads the floor as Facilities Manager. His love for training and helping athletes attain their goals is evident. Morgan has taken his experience and perseverance to the stage, competing and winning as a Middle and Light Middle Weight Bodybuilder in Manitoba as well as testing his steel in National competitions. |

MATT HARPER During Matt's 5-year tenure with the Manitoba Bison Football team, he played as a starter and was the Captain for 4 years along the defensive line. Matt has attended both the CIS East West Bowl and CFL Combine as well as training camps with the Hamilton Tiger Cats and BC Lions of the CFL. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He first joined Elite as a client and has since become the Director of Elite's Football Academy as well as a Director of Elite's Football Skills Camps. His hands-on experience coupled with his extensive knowledge of the game has also led Matt to tackle the positions of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for both the University of Manitoba's Bison Football team and Manitoba's Provincial Football Program. |

DANE CROWLEY Dane is a product of Elite. He was a client for 10 years, and since recently putting his dream of the NHL on hold is now one of Elite's newest employees. Dane played 5 years in the WHL, where he was a team captain for 2 years. He was drafted to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2006 and played in the AHL for the Norfolk Admirals and Houston Aeros in 2008 & 2009. He has decided to pursue an education and is now playing for the Manitoba Bison's men's hockey team. |

RACHEL CUTCLIFF Rachel graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2007 with a degree in communications and an emphasis on public relations and broadcasting. While at the University of North Dakota she played division 1 hockey for the Fighting Sioux and was a nationally recognized rugby player, being long listed to the U19 & U23 national teams. Rachel joins the Elite Team of Professionals to lend her administrative and marketing talents to Elite's ever-growing clientele. |

ERICA HOLMES Erica graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2010 and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She played 5 years with the Bison women's hockey team which earned bronze medals in CIS nationals in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons and was a Can-West champion in 2008-09. She is one of the province's elite female hockey officials and is also a certified coach. She is a member of Team Manitoba ball hockey and still plays competitive softball. Erica has been part of the Elite Rehabilitation team for over a year and has recently joined the Elite Performance division. She is passionate about helping people improve and pushing people to their limits. She is entering a Masters of Physiotherapy program in the fall on route to achieving a dual profession physiotherapist and personal trainer. |

KAYLA HOBDAY Kayla is a current Kinesiology student at the University of Manitoba, and a former member of the McGill Martlet hockey team. While playing defence at McGill, she earned a QSSF Championship and a CIS silver medal. After two ACL rehabilitations at Elite, Kayla knows just how much perseverance and determination it takes to achieve your goals. |

JAMIE ROBERTSON The University of Manitoba School of Medical Rehabilitation grad has been practicing for 12 years in hospital settings at the Seven Oaks General Hospital Wellness Institute which eventually led him on the path of Industrial Rehabilitation as therapist. Though you wouldn't catch him on a basketball court, Jaime is a former hockey and football player and now enjoys playing golf. An early baseball knee injury saw Jaime referred to a physiotherapist and he immediately knew this was his calling. Jaime's 8-year-old daughter is his pride and joy, but when it comes to work, he sees great satisfaction in seeing his patients heal. "When I compare a client's status some time later, it is pretty gratifying to quantify their improvements, be it in strength, range of motion, stability, etc.", says Jaime. A closet artist, Jaime sees himself teaching one day, but for now he is content with learning all that he can to improve his skills |

KERRI EDISON Although not originally from Manitoba, Kerri has completed two undergraduate degrees at the University of Manitoba; a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. With a background in swimming, a passion for cycling, and a long love of running, Kerri has a personal interest in a variety of injuries. Having completed two Ironman Canada Triathlons, she understands the value of strength and balance. Having recently entered the world of motherhood, Kerri has firsthand knowledge on partum issues that may arise with pregnancy and how to aid in the recovery. Her 15 years in the military as a reserve Inspection Diver has diversified her experiences and can only benefit her understanding of many work related and play related injuries and how to return to functional activities. |

LEAH DLOT Another University of Manitoba graduate, Leah has been with Elite since the start of her career. A former gymnast, Leah had many injuries growing up, and having a therapist that could help her heal quickly was an inspiration. Ever the athlete, Leah now dabbles in running, triathlon and tennis, but her affinity for sports does not mean this athlete likes competition. A type A personality at work, Leah is devoted to helping her clients return to their active lives at work or in their sport. |

BARRY CONNOR With South African roots and a love for waterskiing, Barry believes in living life to the fullest with no regrets. For this reason, the University of Manitoba grad chose Physiotherapy over Law school and graduated in 1999. A far cry from his child dreams of becoming a jetfighter pilot, yet he chose a profession offering a variety of different practice opportunities, which was a draw for the former football and rugby player. "The most satisfying aspect of the job is meeting former patients in the grocery store who have moved forward successfully from their injuries," says Barry. The teamwork between the Elite staff and Legacy Doctors is Barry's favourite part of his position at Elite. |

KEVIN EASTOE Kevin is a certified athletic therapist from the University of Manitoba and is currently Head Athletic Therapist for the Winnipeg Riffles on top of his work at Elite. As a child, he had dreams of becoming a professional hockey player, therefore his love for hockey, golf, basketball and football comes as no surprise. Rehabilitating patients so that they are able to accomplish what they never thought they'd be able to do again is a point of great satisfaction for Kevin. "My favourite part of working at Elite is definitely the people that I get to meet and their stories of how they got here, what they do, things they can tell me about their experiences," says Kevin. With a great sense of humour and a dream of one day going to the Olympics as therapist, Kevin believes in always making the best with what life hands him.

STEFENIE TUDRYN Stefenie is a Certified Athletic Therapist and CSEP - Certified Personal Trainer who graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Health. She has had many opportunities to work in the field including high school football, Manitoba Provincial Soccer Association, and university basketball. As a therapist's assistant, Stefenie uses her knowledge and experience to help patients with their daily treatments to ensure a safe and efficient return work or sport. In addition to her passion for therapy, Stefenie is an Emergency Medical Responder and stays active by playing both indoor and outdoor soccer as well as co-ed volleyball.

MEGAN SENCHUK As a new member of the therapist team at Elite, University of Manitoba graduate Megan chose her career due to a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and a love of communication and client rapport. A trainer for the Mustangs Football Club, Megan is an athlete herself and has played ringette for 18 years. She is still playing at the Open 1 level. Just as active as she is, Megan's family is a great source of inspiration, especially her grandmother. "She continues to exude her personal strength and positive outlook on life," says Megan. Megan enjoys the committed clientele Elite attracts, athletes or not. The energy is infectious and it is this positivity Megan likes to surround herself with both at work and at home.

NATASHA YUSKA As a former gymnast, accomplished swimmer and baseball fan, Natasha is a University of Manitoba grad who is well experienced in the domain of sports. She knows the importance of a healthy lifestyle and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others to improve their quality of life. With a sibling in occupational therapy, her chosen career path in rehabilitation comes as no surprise. More than just an Elite therapist, Natasha is also an NLS, CPR and First Aid instructor and a very good baker! Her favourite aspect of the Elite family is the positive environment and unwavering client commitment. Natasha hopes to one day travel and experience as many different cultures as possible.

SUSANNE ROBSON Susanne is a 2008 graduate from the University of Manitoba and as an all-around athlete, following a path towards physiotherapy was a perfect fit. "My passion for physical activity has included many injuries along the way. Physiotherapy seemed a natural fit to maintain my connections to athletes and challenge myself mentally," says Susanne. She competed in kickboxing, gymnastics, synchronized swimming, dance and sports aerobics, and currently teaches a variety of fitness classes. If all this athleticism isn't enough, Susanne would love to one day complete and ironman and is most proud of overcoming her fear of heights by going skydiving. For Susanne, the biggest reward of working at Elite is being able to help people achieve a pain-free life.

SHARON SCOTT Sharon was born in Ocho Rios Jamaica and has made Winnipeg her permanent home. She has a 21 year old daughter, Shanoy who is currently a student at the University of Manitoba. Sharon's favorite sports are Soccer and football, and her biggest source of inspiration is her mom. By living her personal motto of treating others how she would like to be treated, Sharon enjoys interacting with the wide array of clientele that visit Elite. One of her greatest accomplishment so far is completing the Medical Office Assistant program at Robertson College and receiving her diploma.

NICKEL MACALALAD Nickel is a friendly and outgoing individual who loves to learn new things and meet new people. His biggest accomplishment to date is completing the Human Resources Program at Red River College. Nickel promotes an active lifestyle and enjoys most sports, specifically Basketball, Football and Golf. Nickel's favorite quote to live by is "Anything is Possible". His positive energy and enthusiasm keeps him going and keeps him ready for what the future holds.

KATELYN JONSSON Katelyn graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She is planning on completing her Masters in Physiotherapy next fall. Her love for Rugby has driven her to play for the U of L Women's Rugby team (2 years as Captain), winning a bronze and 3 gold medals at the CIS National level as well as play for Team Canada Rugby U-19. Her biggest accomplishment was winning Rugby Nationals three times consecutively.

GILBERT MAGNE Gilbert Magne graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy in 2004. After working for the Department of National Defense as a physiotherapist for five years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, he entered private practice in 2009. Certified by the McKenzie Institute in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, Gil brings a well rounded approach to treating chronic pain and specific injuries. Gil has two children, Mathieu and Néomie, with his wife, Katherine, and they enjoy taking part in the vibrant francophone culture in Winnipeg. Gil has been active in martial arts for over 10 years and runs Ivy Martial Arts with his brother Colin. Gil has a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a first degree black belt in Hap Ki Do, so make sure you do the exercises he assigns you.
